Episode 1 – G’day Parks Tiona – Pacific Palms (click to watch on 10Play)

Jimeoin and his old mate Akmal set out on their journey. On their first night they decided to “rough it” and camp in tents in the bush. They quickly discover they have no idea what they’re doing and if they are to enjoy camping they will  need to brush up on their bushmanship. 

Dave from G’day Parks, Australia’s biggest Holiday Park group, sees that Jimeoin is touring and he invites them to perform a show and stay at G’day Park Tiona — which is coincidentally where they. The boys agree – then go paddle boarding and that night perform a stand-up show at the park before retiring in their fancy Eco Tents. Hey, it’s still a tent. 

G’day Parks Dave then suggests to  Jimeoin to do the tour  their parks around Australia. 

Episode 2 – G’day Parks Austin Holiday Park – Tamworth

Georgie Caroll joins Jimeoin on tour and as they head west  for a proper bush experience, They’ve  never toured together — but they chatter on like they’ve known each other for years. They stop to get their swags out for the night in some real Aussie bush — along with Georgie’s big purple wheelie bag that shows she’s not a camper. 

As they build a fire, they watch the ominous clouds roll in and it’s gonna rain on their comedy cavalcade. Georgie can’t sleep and tries to wake Jimeon — the weather has turned bad and Georgie insists on getting a warm cabin at the G’day Park in Tamworth. 

Not letting the wet weather rain on their parade, the pair head into Tamworth to see what they can do. They visit the Guitar Museum and the famous Big Golden Guitar, check out a camping store, when in Tamworth, you need a big country hat! Jimeoin has an idea to move their live show to the Park’s shed / garage of the caravan park. Owner Frank and son, Phil are happy for them to move the show there to get out of the bad weather. The garage is quickly cleaned up, warm fires are lit, lights are hung and an historic “Austin Car” is rolled out as the backdrop. Jimeoin and Georgie put on an intimate set for a handful of G’day Parks travellers, with Jimoein making full use of the toys in the garage and Georgie having a great time on stage. The crowd has a hilarious night and Jimeoin heads off to Yamba, where Akmal is going to rejoin him. 

Episode 3 – G’day Parks Blue Dolphin – Yamba

Jimeoin and Akmal continue their journey, but this time they swap the boring hire car for a slick blue 1977 Volkswagen Kombi. Once they arrive at the G’day Park Holiday Park in Yamba, Jimeoin and Akmal make friends with neighbouring holidaymakers. 

Jimeoin invites himself over to a couples stay while Akmal decides to take a break from camping and books the best place in the park, a luxurious villa, under the guise of being  Jimeoin. Later that day, Jimeoin takes the ultimate leap of faith rock jumping at Angourie Blue and Green Pools. 

That evening, the comedians put on another brilliant comedy show at the park and next morning celebrate its success by watching the sunrise together – something they haven’t done for years. 

Episode 4 – G’day Parks Brisbane Holiday Village – Brisbane

Jimeoin is joined by fellow comedic veteran Michael Dalton as his road trip continues towards Brisbane. The opening sees the pair discussing nature vs. nurture as they compare their experiences with camping and the outdoors. Jimeoin continues to display his camping prowess by setting up his swag and starting the campfire. Michael introduces Jimeoin to his alter ego,  Dolly Diamond – an Aussie cabaret and comedy legend. Dolly prefers the creature comforts of a brand new campervan instead of swag. 

After a night by  the campfire, Jimeoin surprises Michael with the luxury accommodation that they’re used to by booking a 5 star fully serviced Airstream trailer at the G’day Parks Holiday Village in Brisbane. An ever grateful Dolly Diamond greets  Jimeoin to surprise him with a hot air balloon ride at dawn over the breathtaking hinterlands and surrounds  of Brisbane and South East Queensland. 

Jimeon and Dolly return to relax before that night’s live show, surfing in the park’s wave simulator, going for a skate and meeting the audience. The Andrews Sisters Tribute Band warm up the crowd — with Dolly and Jimeoin having a show to remember. 

Episode 5 – G’day Parks Hervey Bay Tourist Park – Hervey Bay

Jimeoin takes a detour on his way to Hervey Bay through the historic town of Maryborough. Comedians spend loads of time solo and Waltzing Matilda inspired the name of the show, and he’s been playing the song a lot. He’s reminded of the swag man, and  he’s very grateful for the opportunity he’s had. Here we get a glimpse of the simpler life that Jimeoin rarely gets to explore with his busy touring schedule. 

Upon arrival into Hervey Bay we are joined by emerging Indigenous comedian Jay Wyamarra who will be his travel companion for the next couple of days. An early start sees them setting off to explore the beauty of nearby Fraser Island in a hot pink 4WD on the sandy shores heading to the awe-inspiring Lake McKenzie. A quick pit stop at the local bakery in Eurong to refuel then on to the next adventure — a plane ride over Fraser Island! When they return they ditch the vans Jay and Jimeoin explore the local esplanade on bikes, and then joining an incredible up close whale watching experience.

With the BBQs sizzling, local musician Frank Benn begins getting the crowd warmed up at that night’s live comedy show where  Jay and Jimeoin deliver hilarious acts for the crowd. 

Episode 6 – G’day Parks Discovery Parks Airlie Beach- Airlie Beach

Jimeoin continues his journey North and is joined by a Queensland favorite, comedian Ting Lim. Ting is known for her sharp wit and daring nature. We see the comedic duo take a walk on the wild side as they start their trip with a hike to Cedar Creek Falls, exploring the natural swimming holes and waterfalls on offer.

The Gday Park Airlie Beach is nestled alongside the rainforest of Conway National Park, a stones throw away from the Whitsundays. To get a better feel for the coastal town Ting and Jimeoin take to the streets on a local Tuk Tuk tour. The guide takes us from dazzling marinas, along the boardwalks, through the parks and finally to the white sand beaches.

With the live show set on a vibing Friday night, Ting and Jimeoin join forces with signer Rebelquin. Her husky, Janis joplin sound voice creates a buzz amongst the crows and Ting and Jimeoin take the stage.

Episode 7 – G’day Parks Airlie Beach- Whitsundays

Episode 7 see’s Jimeoin test out his sea legs! Joined by fellow Australian comedian Jacques Barrett they set sail on the Whitsundays Freedom heading towards the iconic Whitehaven Beach. Jimeoin and Jacques cruise the seas exploring all that the Whitsundays have to offer before arriving and mooring ar Moor Tongue Bay. To take in the beauty of Whitehaven, they hike to the top of Hill Inlet Outlook where they are greeted with views of the pristine white sand and ice blue waters.
